Olympic fever has heightened in our house with the kids counting down the days until 08.08.08.

The kids have been counting down at school and at home and cannot wait to watch the opening ceremony next Friday night.

Competing in athletics themselves I think they will be interested in the running and field events. However I think all the TVs will be running hot for the period of the Olympics at our house.

Back To Work

My weekly Tuesday off seems to come and go in a blur these days. I help out at school with the kids computer class in the afternoon and every 2nd Tuesday keep the farm accounts up to date for my MIL. Every Tuesday evening I attend and adult Jazz class at the kids dance school. I know it is only one day a week but it's better than no exercise at all.

Anyway back to work this morning........hope you all have a great day!

Butterflies Galore

I've gone a little butterfly crazy since buying the Fiskars shape cutter and using it Free hand as well as with the templates. There is great paper out theres with butterlies on as well as chipboard and of course making your own with the theplates.

Yesterdays lo has butterlies in it done both freehand and from templates so today I've posted a lo with a chipboard butterfly.

At least they can be used for both boy and girl layouts.

Unreal Mail

They say snail mail is on the way out.....after last night's mail I have to disagree. The number of parcels (extremely large ones at that) that we sorted last night for today's mail was just ridiculous. I don't know where I'm going to store them if we get many more. I think a lot of people now mail order as they really do not have time to go shopping. I know I'm one!!

Most of my scrapbooking supplies are bought on the net.

First Day

I never thought I'd do it....my own blogspot. I have never quite got up the courage to do this but today I felt I needed to bite the bullet and do it. I always enjoy reading other blogs so I hope I can make this interesting. Here is a LO that I like that I wanted to share...happy days.
